Creutzfeldt-jakob disease
Alzheimer's Disease (AD) and sporadic Creutzfeldt Jakob Disease (sCJD)
are sister prion diseases [like mad cow and Chronic Wasting Disease (CWD)], transmissible, infectious by tainted meat, aerosols, medical equipment, (scopes, etc.) dental and eye equipment, blood, urine, feces, saliva, mucous. s/cjD is Alzheimer's on fast forward. Doctors frequently misdiagnose AD and sCJD one for the other. The symptoms and neuropathology are almost identical. AD epidemic = 6 million US victims, new case every 68 seconds.
"The prion-like behavior implicated in Alzheimer's disease also suggests that it may be transmissible like mad cow disease."
""Our findings open the possibility that some of the sporadic Alzheimer's cases may arise from an infectious process," senior author Claudio Soto said in a statement in October. "

June 22, 2012 - Nobel Laureate Stanley Prusiner, UCSF:
“Now he concludes, they (prions) are actually capable of multiplying in
what he terms "alternative" shapes, with each shape responsible for a
different type of dementia. ”
“The brain diseases caused by prions include Alzheimer's, Parkinson's and
Huntington's, amyotrophic lateral sclerosis, also known as Lou Gehrig's
disease, and other varied disorders known collectively as the
frontotemporal dementias, Prusiner said “
"The same proteins were also responsible for an obscure hereditary human
disorder called Creutzfeldt-Jakob disease, he maintained."

The prion disease signature of amyloid plaques are found in the brains of Bovine Amyloidotic Spongiform Encephalopathy (BASE) mad cows, chronic wasting disease (CWD) deer, and AD, early onset Alzheimer's and sCJD victims.
People infected with prion disease from eating CWD tainted meat may be presenting as AD or early onset Alzheimer's Dementia victims.
Aging dairy cows with asymptomatic Bovine Amyloidotic Spongiform Encephalopathy (BASE) are regularly entering US food supply UNTESTED in huge industrial mixing vats of hamburger, each containing meat from 50 to 100 animals from multiple states and two to four countries. http://www.organicconsumers.org/madcow/burger21904.cfm
This is likely the route of human prion disease infection (AD).
